Change Management Virtual Instructor-Led Training

Overview of Training

This sample was developed as part of a blended learning solution that included e-Learning,  VILT, and a digital journal.  This sample represents the second of four VILT sessions that follow in a series with e-Learning modules.  The purpose of the training is to prepare Company X's leadership team for an upcoming organizational change. The company plans to use an 8-step change process model; this VILT covers the first three steps of the change process. Before attending this session, the learner would have completed two e-learning modules and one VILT.

You can view other samples from the blended learning solution through the following links.

Providing Constructive Feedback Instructor-Led Training

Overview of Training

The sample below was developed as a 10-minute microlesson on Providing Constructive Feedback for new managers.

Providing Constructive Feedback Microlesson.mp4

Slide Deck

This video provides a brief view of the animations and transitions that bring the simple layout and formatting to life. The color palette and design choices were based on the company branding. Other organization-identifying information has been removed.

The sample begins with simple feedback examples (both positive and developmental) to help the learners access prior knowledge, then asks the learners to assess whether or not the examples are constructive. A definition of constructive feedback is provided, followed by a discussion on how the examples could be modified into constructive feedback. The learners then have an opportunity to consider feedback they have received or given previously and revise it to meet the definition of constructive. The session is closed with a call to action.
